The Scripps Sandbox Makerspace will be open starting Thursday, September 26, from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday with the occasional exception. I’ll be sure to communicate any exceptions to this schedule here, so you’ll always know when you can drop by.

This fall, we plan to have a diverse lineup of workshops planned, covering a variety of tools and topics. Addition, Professor Todd Martz will be teaching two classes (SIO 179 and SIOG 267) in the makerspace. While those classes are in session, the space will still be open for drop-ins and working on your own projects, with the exception of the classroom area in use.

I encourage you to take advantage of the resources and tools available in the Sandbox. Whether you’re looking to work on a personal project, get feedback on a design idea, collaborate with others, or just drop by to see what’s happening.
